| With the Virotech ELISAs we offer you a wide range of products from A like Adenovirus until Y like Yersinia for the Infectious Diseases Serology. The special feature of our products is the identical procedure at a high quality standard. To enable this, the single wells are color coded. Thus it is possible to create your own individual microtiter frame e.g. use all of our respiratory products in one microtiter frame and it is all the time possible to remark which strip is which product of the range. Only the controls are specific for the single parameter — all other reagents are interchangeable. Our conjugates can e.g. not only be interchanged in between of different lots but also be used for different products of our ELISA range. Thus, only one conjugate is needed for the whole IgG-serology! The same is valid for IgM and IgA. Of course, all other ready to use reagents like Dilutionbuffer, Substrate and Stop Solution (only the Washbuffer has to be prepared) can be used for all of our ELISAs. You will find an overview on this in our ELISA information booklet. Additionally, the identical procedure of the Virotech ELISAs ensures a correct test procedure. Of course, the Virotech ELISA range can be automised.

| Virotech CSF Diagnostic | | With the Virotech CSF Standards we are able to offer you a wide Cerebrospinal Fluid Range for the detection of specific antibodies in serum and CSF. Our Assays are available in the market for many years now and well established in the routine diagnostic. Thanks to the long-lasting co-operation with CSF-specialists, an extensive evaluation with a huge number of CSF-serum-pairs of the most different neurological clinical pictures has been proceeded.
The special feature of the CSF Products is the identical procedure at a high quality standard. To enable this, the single wells are color coded, conjugate, substrate and stop solution are not lot- and parameter specific and the incubation periods are identical for all the assays. All reagents except the wash buffer are ready to use. Only the controls are specific for the single parameter — all other reagents are interchangeable. For the test procedure you simply order the corresponding CSF-standards for your Virotech ELISA Test Kit. Thus, you can proceed serum- and CSF samples with the ELISA in parallel on a plate.
Via a measured curve proceeded with 4 standards, the quotients of CSF- and serum antibodies that are necessary for the antibody-index-calculation can be determined. The antibody-index-determination is done referring to Reiber. By means of the appropriate choice of the dilution ratio for CSF and serum it is possible to nearly completely eliminate matrix effects. To check the accuracy and precision of the antibody index (AI) we have developed the antibody index control. This control can be used for the quality control of your CSF routine diagnostic.
